CCG - Tier I Technician

Climate Control Group

Summary:

The Tier I Technician is responsible for incoming technical calls, ticket routing, basic troubleshooting and problem resolution. Successful candidates will exhibit dependability, exceptional customer service skills, and a strong work ethic. This position can be demanding and fast moving, requiring someone who can exercise good judgment and significant initiative. Candidate must also possess problem-solving skills and ability to work within a team.

Essential Functions:

  • Answering incoming technical support calls, creating tickets, following escalation policies
  • Working tech support service tickets to customers (via live chat, phone, and email), and documenting tasks and resolutions
  • Maintaining status on open tickets
  • Using remote management software to provide remote support
  • Familiarity with computer operating systems, and a myriad of consumer communications devices (e.g., smartphones, and wireless devices)
  • Computer hardware and software troubleshooting and troubleshooting configuration issues

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required. Trade school training or higher education preferred
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible work hours
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Positive and professional attitude
