Summary:

The Data Analyst plays a pivotal role in the reporting, analysis and diagnosis of company information to improve efficiency and service. This position will work closely with the Accounting department in completing and communicating various reports and industry related results. The Data Analyst will work alongside all departments in various aspects with the ultimate goal of improving company processes and productivity.

Essential Functions:

• Complete various reports to include but not limited to: Sales Recon, Order Status, Unit Gross Margin, 5 year historical, and Model and Size report
• Complete various calculations and summaries to provide data visualization as required by management
• Assist in maintenance of existing databases
• Create, maintain and update various databases
• Create and maintain dashboards on iDashboard
• Collaborates cross-functionally for ad-hoc data requests
• Providing monthly, quarterly, and yearly market data to AHRI
• Various projects as requested

Skills & Abilities

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics or related degree or equivalent experience preferred

Computer Skills:

• Highly skilled in MS Office; expert level Excel skills
• SQL reporting and database management
• Ad-hoc reporting
• Working knowledge of AS400 preferred

Experience:

• Three to 5 years previous experience in an Analyst position
• Previous manufacturing experience highly preferred

Other Requirements:

• Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities required in the examination, planning and completion of research assignments.
