The Account Representative performs work involved in receiving and responding to customer complaints, requests, and/or inquiries concerning orders, field claims, freight claims, and invoice adjustments and/or other matters of a similar nature. This position is the central “positive” communication point which provides a service to anyone that requests assistance.

Essential Functions:

• Assists customers with order entry online configurator, revisions and order cancellations
• Responds to customer inquiries for shipping information in timely manner
• Interprets notes and communicates information to the manufacturing group regarding bills of materials
• Monitors and coordinates the orders to ensure orders are entered and distributed in a timely manner
• Serves as the Receptionist back-up.
• Ability to establish new systems and maintain records and files.
• Issue credit memos if needed
• Order entry for equipment and accessories / self-audit and audit department orders
• Plans and works with customer with equipment schedule and expedite if necessary
• Provides Export Documentation if necessary

Skills & Abilities

Education:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D; some college preferred

Experience:

• One-year Customer Service experience; previous manufacturing experience preferred
• One – two years of Order Processing experience preferred

Computer Skills:

• Skilled with MS Office Suite; strong Excel skills
• Ability to type 50 WPM
• Previous experience with JDE and AS400 preferred
